4 Arquitectura-si your budget and time allow, then go for the gold with new floors, molding and lighting. My friend and faithful web developer, Andrew, is to redo his Office, so I put together these tips with him in mind. Soil: I recommend the hard surfaces with wood in the top of the list. Carpet can get dusty and I would like to keep super clean the area around the equipment. Forge: be bold with base and crown molding. Don't look for original molding to size. They are often small and wimpy. If you have 9-foot ceilings and then nothing until 9? each for the top and the base is a fair game. I usually am base a couple of inches below the Crown. Mix traditional with modern furniture moldings space, gives a touch of design. Lighting: The best lighting for a workspace is a combination of good general lighting (for example, recessed lights) with certain lighting (lamps). 5 Customize - working from home allows you to customize your space and make it truly your own. There are no rules! Highlight the room with your favorite picture or a lamp with a screen. Use a cork board for special memories or family photos. Just make sure that your Office portrays an air of professionalism if you meet customers at home.
